Owner & Founder, Broadway Babies
Hi, I'm Brooke Alanna Hussey, the proud founder of Broadway Babies, a children’s theater company and school dedicated to inspiring young performers through the magic of musical theater. I truly believe every child can benefit from the life lessons of being part of a production—lessons in teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and the value of hard work.
Theater isn’t just an art form—it’s also a form of movement, discipline, and expression that feels like a sport to many of us. It’s active, creative, and full of joy. My mission is to share the light of theater with a new generation through a variety of programs designed to spark confidence, creativity, and collaboration.
I hold a technical degree in theater and have been teaching for over five years. In the past year alone, I’ve directed and choreographed more than 15 musicals—each one special in its own way, but The Lion King will always hold a special place in my heart.
At Broadway Babies, we’re not just putting on shows—we’re shaping future leaders, artists, and team players. I can’t wait to welcome your family into our theater family.
Our Teaching Philosophy
At Broadway Babies, our teaching approach blends fun, creativity, discipline, technique, and respect to create a learning environment where every student feels empowered and inspired. Whether it's a child’s first time on stage or their tenth production, we meet them where they are and help them grow from there.
Each class begins with warm-ups and theater games to loosen up the body, ignite imagination, and build ensemble connection. From there, we dive into developing strong performance skills—acting, singing, and dancing—all while encouraging students to explore what it truly means to create and inhabit a character, both on and off stage.
We proudly serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade and adapt our instruction to fit a wide range of ages and experience levels. Across all levels, we promote a growth mindset, helping students understand that effort, resilience, and curiosity are key to personal and artistic success.
Above all, we want our students to walk away from every class and production not only as stronger performers but as more confident individuals who feel comfortable using their voices to inspire others.
